Eric Meyer-Executive Director
Eric Meyer received his Bachelors and Masters in Accounting
at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Eric joined MedTax after
spending several years as a Senior Accountant at one of the
nation’s largest public accounting firms. While there, he gained
invaluable experience providing services such as Federal,
State and Local Tax advice, conducting internal audits,
Sarbanes-Oxley, due diligence, and audit & attestation.
Eric has partnered with Larson Financial Group LLC to oversee
operations at MedTax. His personal company mission is to
integrate all aspects of a physician’s lifestyle into a realistic tax
plan. He also understands that a physician’s time can be limited
and seeks to provide essential tax advice that allows physicians
to make informed decisions.
In his spare time, Eric loves to travel and participates in various sports. On the weekends you can catch him enjoying outdoor activities with his wife Caroline and his three Labrador Retrievers.
Sarah Jacobs-Accounting Consultant
Sarah Jacobs received her Bachelor’s Degree from University Missouri-St. Louis. After working as an in house marketing and sales coordinator, Sarah started her own local consulting company for small businesses. As a business owner, she was responsible for all the financial and accounting operations. She quickly caught on to the ins and outs of running a business and began helping her clients with their business and accounting needs.
Having a passion for entrepreneurship, Sarah enjoys helping clients start their own businesses and medical practices. A Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor since 2007, Sarah is responsible for business registration and setting up accounting systems for new companies, as well as, troubleshooting clients' technical accounting, tax and payroll questions. Currently, she is working on obtaining her Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification.
A St. Louis native, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is also a co-founder and President of the Saint Louis Business Alliance-a professional group in the Greater St. Louis area designed to allow enthusiastic business people to exchange ideas, share common interests and provides an insider's view of the regional business scene.
